On the morning of June 1, the Steering Committee for Summer Activities in Ho Chi Minh City and the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organized the Summer Opening Ceremony and launched the 20th Hoa Phuong Do Volunteer Campaign - 2025; launching the peak activity day "Volunteers for juniors" in the city.

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, at the program, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy kindly sent her congratulations and sincere feelings to the children. She acknowledged and highly appreciated the dynamism and enthusiasm in the movement and activities of the children, students, and soldiers of the Red Flamboyant Campaign... in the past time.
With the theme “Proud of Children of Uncle Ho City”, this summer, the city has deployed many groups of activities, synchronously from the city level to the grassroots level, focusing on organizing and maintaining summer activities in neighborhoods, promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of young people.
Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy suggested that it is necessary to focus on implementing tasks and organizing useful and effective summer activities for students and children in the area, residential areas, schools, shelters, and open houses managed by the city. Special attention should be paid to ensuring safety, fun, and health in summer activities.
Along with that, it is necessary to promote connection, mobilize and effectively use social resources to care for children, especially students and children in difficult circumstances, to help them have a meaningful summer.
Besides, comrade Tran Thi Dieu Thuy also emphasized that it is necessary to focus on effectively organizingeducational activities on history, culture, and traditions of the locality and nation according to the motto of playing while learning, learning while playing.
At the same time, encourage the participation of parents and their children in summer activities, to spread traditional family values and strengthen social cohesion.
Having participated in the Red Flamboyant Volunteer Campaign from the very beginning, following the growth of the campaign and the maturity of each soldier, who is now the Campaign Command Committee , the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union... I feel very proud and moved.

The 20th Red Flamboyant Campaign - 2025 with the theme "Proud of 20 Red Flamboyant Seasons - Experience and Growth" takes place from May to August 2025, expected to attract 50,000 soldiers to participate.
The campaign's command board has set practical and meaningful targets such as: establishing 150 "Digital Popularization" teams at high schools, vocational education centers - Continuing education centers; establishing 200 specialized "Proud of Vietnamese History" teams; propagating, training digital skills, improving digital and foreign language capacity for at least 15,000 youth and people...
The specific projects of this year's campaign are: implementing 20 "Youthful Knowledge - Creativity Spaces" at high schools, Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers; presenting 20 "Digital Learning Corners" to Union officials and members in difficult circumstances.
