The Gratitude and Coming of Age Ceremony program needs to be organized in many fun and lively forms but not ostentatious, formal, or costly.
12th grade students at Duong Van Thi High School (Thu Duc City) share their concerns about entering university. |
On the morning of May 15, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City sent a document to the head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City and 21 districts, principals of high schools, general schools with many levels, directors of vocationaleducation - continuing education centers and heads of affiliated units regarding the requirements for organizing Gratitude and Coming of Age ceremonies for students of the final grades of the 2022-2023 school year.
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested that schools proactively arrange the time to organize the Gratitude and Maturity Ceremony for students of the final grades of the 2022-2023 school year in accordance with the actual conditions at the unit.
In particular, after the "ceremony" program, depending on the conditions of the unit, the school organizes healthy recreational activities, suitable for the students' ages. The program must ensure to create a joyful, happy, excited atmosphere and achieve the goal of educating students' awareness.
In addition, the organization of recreational activities must ensure security, order, safety, ensure students' health and preserve and maintain facilities at the unit.
The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City noted that schools need to coordinate with the school's Parents' Association and the class's Parents' Association to prepare for the organization.
The Gratitude and Coming of Age Ceremony program is widely communicated to parents to invite them to participate in the school's general activities, thereby recognizing the maturity of students.
Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, Duong Tri Dung, requested that the Gratitude and Coming of Age Ceremony program should be organized in many joyful and lively forms, but not ostentatious, formal, or costly, with the aim of helping students express their gratitude to their grandparents, parents, and teachers for their intellectual and personality growth.
Through that, the festival contributes to creating beautiful and profound memories for students of the final grades before the end of the school year, thereby positively affecting students' awareness, thoughts, and emotions and shaping the school's traditional cultural activities.
The ceremony must be held in a joyful, warm atmosphere, with performances in the program focusing on the themes of grandparents, parents, teachers, school and friendship.
In particular, during the entire ceremony, the school has a plan to ensure safety against Covid-19 and implement regulations on Covid-19 prevention when organizing at the unit.
