Exciting experience with 3D Mapping projection on 125-year-old building in Da Nang

The 3D Mapping film program called "The Story of Da Nang" takes place over three nights: April 29, April 30 and May 1. Each night there will be two screenings from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The 3D Mapping film will be shown on the facade of the 125-year-old building - Da Nang Museum. The film brings people interesting experiences thanks to modern footage with profound historical value.

Although it was still a long time before the movie started, many people had already flocked to Bach Dang Street to see with their own eyes the historical footage on the great national holiday.

Seeing information about the 3D Mapping movie screening on social media, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoang (32 years old, living in Lien Chieu district) took the opportunity to arrive early to find a good location to easily watch the movie.

"This is the first time I have seen such a beautiful 3D Mapping film. Watching these films, I am truly moved, proud and love my homeland and country even more," Mr. Hoang shared.

As a young person, seeing vivid historical images for the first time, Pham Thi Quynh Han (20 years old, living in Hai Chau district) feels very proud of the process of building and developing her hometown.

"Watching the movie, I learned and understood more about history. This is a very vivid way of telling historical stories, suitable for everyone. Pride is my greatest feeling when watching the 3D movie screening today," Quynh Han said.

The 3D Mapping show "The Story of Da Nang" introduces the formation and development of Da Nang city through many historical periods.

Accordingly, the show consists of 3 parts, the first part is called "The Origin of Da Nang". This part helps to recreate the process of formation of the land, residents and historical developments from prehistoric and early historical periods to ancient and medieval periods, associated with ancient kingdoms, especially the cultural imprints of Sa Huynh, Champa, and Dai Viet.

Part 2 is "The Epic of Struggle" recreating the long struggle of the army and people of Da Nang against Western colonialism led by France (1858 - 1954) and the resistance war against the US to save the country (1954 - 1975), while recreating the process of formation and development of Da Nang city.

The final part "Rising" recreates the construction and development of Da Nang city after the liberation day of March 29, 1975; the marks and achievements when it became a centrally-governed city in 1997; and especially, the period when the city transformed in the era of integration and development, becoming one of the leading economic , cultural and social centers of the country and the region.
