
On the morning of November 29, Nghi Xuan Commune People's Committee solemnly organized the Cho Cui Temple Festival and the death anniversary of Saint Hoang Muoi in 2025.

Cho Cui Temple (Nghi Xuan Commune) has long been known as a spiritual and cultural site of over 500 years with the popular name of Cui Temple or Holy Mother Linh Tu, honoring the famous general Hoang Muoi - who had the merit of fighting the Ming invaders from the North, protecting the country's borders and gates during the Le Dynasty.
According to tradition, every year on the 10th day of the 10th lunar month, the Party Committee, government and people of the old Nghi Xuan district (now Nghi Xuan commune) organize a festival and the death anniversary of Saint Hoang Muoi at Cho Cui temple to pay tribute and commemorate "Saint Minh of Nghe An".

Taking place from October 3rd to October 10th of the lunar calendar, this is the second year that the Cho Cui Temple Festival has been organized on a large scale with a series of unique cultural and sports activities; ceremonies imbued with traditional cultural features to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of the nation, commemorating the merits of the gods who have contributed to the country.
Through the festival to propagate and educate the tradition of patriotism, love for homeland, foster national pride for generations; at the same time associated with the development of spiritual tourism, promoting and preserving the traditional cultural beauty of the locality.

Maintaining and promoting the value of Cho Cui Temple Festival not only contributes to preserving spiritual cultural heritage but also creates a strong influence in the community; arouses pride, fosters solidarity and preserves the fine traditions of the homeland.


Thanks to innovation in management and services in recent years, the National Historical - Cultural Relic of Cho Cui Temple has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the country, meeting the needs of worship, praying for peace and fortune of the people across the country, especially during the New Year and the death anniversary of Saint Hoang Muoi.
