Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tan district Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the Phu Tan district Association for Promotion of Education Huynh Thi The Phuong attended.
This time, the District Association for Promotion of Education awarded 161 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well and students with disabilities in their hands and feet at all levels of education in the area. The total value of the scholarships is over 227 million VND, sponsored by An Giang Lottery Company Limited.
Of these, there are 110 scholarships for secondary school students, each worth 1.2 million VND; 36 scholarships for high school students, each worth 1.5 million VND; 3 sponsorship scholarships, each worth 3 million VND; 12 scholarships for children with disabilities of arms and legs, each worth from 2 to 6 million VND.
