On the morning of June 28, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son awarded the Medal "For Peace and Friendship among Nations" to Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam Ann Mawe for her great and practical contributions to Vietnam-Sweden relations.
Mr. Phan Anh Son affirmed that during her term in Vietnam, Ambassador Ann Mawe made important contributions to enhancing understanding and friendship between the people of the two countries, promoting the strong development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ms. Ann Mawe always supports and actively participates in activities organized by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam-Sweden Friendship Association, such as friendship exchanges, welcoming and celebrating important events and major holidays of Vietnam and Sweden.
In recognition of the Ambassador's great contributions during his tenure in Vietnam, the Presidium of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations decided to award the Medal "For Peace and Friendship among Nations" to Ambassador Ann Mawe.
President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son hopes that in any position, Ambassador Ann Mawe will continue to make contributions to further strengthening and developing the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Sweden.
