Giving gifts to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households

According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, in recent times, together with the city's agencies, departments and branches, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have had many practical activities to support and help poor households escape poverty. Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan thanked the Catalys Foundation's volunteer group for their noble gesture through the visit and gift-giving activities; hoping that the volunteer group will organize more social security activities in Can Tho City.

Representatives of the city leaders and volunteers from the Catalys Foundation presented 140 gifts. Each gift was worth 1 million VND, of which the volunteers from the Catalys Foundation provided necessities worth 500,000 VND, and the City Front donated 500,000 VND from the "For the Poor" Fund.
