Mrs. Tran Thi Xin's family is a poor household in Hoa Tho Tay ward (Cam Le district). She has two children, one of whom is sick. Every day, she helps sell rice at a restaurant, with an unstable income. The house she lives in was built nearly 30 years ago, and is seriously degraded, leaking in the rainy season, with cracked walls, and not safe. Understanding the family's situation, the District Farmers' Association coordinated with the Steering Committee for the work of "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" of the ward, with the support of farmers' association members in the district, to donate a total of 160 million VND to help her build a new house. After two months of construction, the house was completed to the joy of the family. The new house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a mezzanine, a kitchen, and a living room.

After 3 months of construction, the house of Mrs. Ho Thi Ngu (Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District) was completed in the joy of the whole family. Mrs. Ngu is a poor household, works as a bottle collector, and has a mentally ill daughter. Her level 4 house is about 50 square meters wide and is severely degraded. During the rainy and stormy season, the local government regularly supports the mother and daughter to a safe shelter. To support Mrs. Ngu, the Ward Farmers' Association donated 30 million VND, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward supported 30 million VND and Agribank Ngu Hanh Son Branch supported 50 million VND to help her rebuild the house, no longer worrying about heavy rain or storms.

Similarly, the Farmers' Association of Hoa Vang District and the Farmers' Association of Hoa Tien Commune supported 55 million VND to help Mr. Nguyen Van Bao's family build a new house. After 3 months of construction, the house was completed, with two bedrooms, a mezzanine, a kitchen, and a toilet, helping him ease his worries during the rainy and stormy season. Mr. Dang Van Quang, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Hoa Tien Commune, said that the locality does not have any temporary or dilapidated houses, however, there are many cases of houses that are degraded and damaged and need to be repaired or rebuilt. In order to support people, in addition to donating funds to build houses, the association mobilized its members to contribute hundreds of free workdays, helping farmers ease their worries about construction costs.

In particular, the locality deployed a "Zero-VND Car Team" to support the transportation of cement and sand; a "Dozer Team" to support digging foundations and leveling the ground to help people. According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Hoa Son Commune (Hoa Vang District), implementing the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, the association mobilized members to contribute dozens of working days and donate 3 tons of cement together with the Party Committee, government, associations, and mass organizations of the commune to complete the construction and repair of 17 houses for households in the area (4 newly built houses, 13 repaired houses).

Since the beginning of the year, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the city have mobilized 248 million VND and 360 working days to build and repair 10 houses for poor members. Of which, Hoa Vang District Association supported the repair of 1 house, Lien Chieu District Association supported the repair of 2 houses, Hai Chau District Association supported the repair of 1 house, Cam Le District Association supported the construction of 1 new house, Ngu Hanh Son District Association supported the repair of 1 house, Thanh Khe District Association mobilized 30 million VND to buy materials to support the repair of 4 houses for members. According to Chairman of the City Farmers' Association Nguyen Huu Thiet, implementing the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, the Associations at all levels have stepped up propaganda, mobilized members to contribute funds, working days and called for other sources of support to help members with the motto "Whoever has something helps, whoever has merit contributes merit, whoever has property contributes property, whoever has little contributes little, whoever has much contributes much". During the implementation process, the association closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to review the right subjects, carry out the movement effectively and practically, contributing to helping farmers stabilize their housing and improve their lives.
