Accordingly, in Tan Thanh ward, the house will be supported to be built for Ms. Vo Hong Hoa, born in 1948, residing in Hamlet 1. In Ward 6, the locality will hold a meeting to review and select the recipient soon.
In the past, from many sources of funds, the Vietnam Airports Corporation Trade Union has organized many social and charitable activities for disadvantaged people, regions and areas. Among them, building charity houses and solidarity houses is one of many action programs that have been and are being implemented.
Representatives of Ca Mau Airport symbolically handed over 2 houses to representatives of Ward 6 and Tan Thanh Ward People's Committees.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Pham Thanh Lam, Director of Ca Mau Provincial Airport, shared: “Ward 6 and Tan Thanh Ward are two areas with land areas cleared and handed over under the Ca Mau Airport Expansion and Upgrade Project. Up to now, the clearance and handover of land has been on schedule. Achieving the above results is thanks to the positive contributions of the local authorities. Especially the information, propaganda and mobilization work to help people better understand the general policy in implementing this project.
“The house donation is not only to express gratitude and acknowledge the contribution, but also a practical action with the desire to work with the locality to effectively implement the goals and progress of the movement “Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses” in Ca Mau City. Not stopping here, in the coming time, the Vietnam Airports Corporation Trade Union in general and Ca Mau Airport in particular will continue to accompany and organize many practical action programs to contribute with the locality to ensure social security and improve the quality of life of the people,” Mr. Pham Thanh Lam shared.
