Awarding Party Badges to 46 senior party members on the occasion of National Day September 2

DTO - On the morning of August 30, at the Sen Hong Hall, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held the Party Badge Awarding Ceremony for the second time on September 2, 2024. Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and comrade Pham Thien Nghia - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, the Provincial Party Committee Office and the District and City Party Committees.

Elderly party members happily meet again at the Party Badge Award Ceremony

At the ceremony, 46 party members were awarded badges of 50 years of Party membership or more; of which, 6 comrades were awarded badges of 60 years of Party membership, 22 comrades received badges of 55 years of Party membership, and 18 comrades received badges of 50 years of Party membership.

Expressing the honor of receiving the 55-year Party badge, comrade Tran Thi Kim Lien (active at Party Cell 2, Party Committee of Ward 4, Cao Lanh City), shared: “I joined the Party on June 6, 1969 when I was only 19 years old, and today it has been 55 years. Today, my comrades and teammates and I are very moved and thank the Provincial Party Committee for organizing this meaningful and warm ceremony. Receiving the Party badge is a great honor, showing the Party's recognition of Party members in the revolutionary cause and in building and defending the country. With all pride, I, as well as the Party members receiving the Party badge today, vow to devote my whole life to the revolutionary ideal, live responsibly and set a good example for the younger generation to follow.”

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Quoc Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the Party Badge Awarding Ceremony took place in an exciting atmosphere when the entire Party Committee, Government and People of the Land of Red Lotus competed to achieve achievements to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024); 55 years of implementing Uncle Ho's Testament. On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong congratulated and sent greetings to the Party members who received the Party Badge. At the same time, he acknowledged the great contributions of the Party members to the revolution to liberate the homeland and the country; and highlighted the heroic tradition of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong emphasized that, inheriting and promoting the traditions of previous generations, over the years, cadres, party members and people in the province have always strived to continuously develop the local socio -economy; the image of Dong Thap culture and people - affectionate, dynamic and creative - has been widely promoted to friends across the country and internationally. In the coming time, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Quoc Phong hopes that the elderly party members will continue to live happily and healthily and contribute their wisdom and experience to build the Party organization and the provincial Party Committee to become increasingly clean and strong...

It is known that, on September 2, 2024, the Provincial Party Committee decided to award and posthumously award the 30-70 year Party membership badge to 338 Party members of the Provincial Party Committee; of which, 1 comrade received the 70 year Party membership badge, 8 comrades received the 60 year Party membership badge, 48 comrades received the 50 and 55 year Party membership badges; 279 comrades received the 30, 40 and 45 year Party membership badges.
