Giving houses of gratitude to relatives of martyrs

The house was built with a total cost of 110 million VND, of which, Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company and officers and soldiers of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard supported 80 million VND, and Rach Dua Ward People's Committee supported 30 million VND.

Representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command, Rach Dua Ward took souvenir photos to share joy with Mr. Tran Van Hung's family.

On July 23, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command coordinated with the People's Committee of Rach Dua Ward to organize the handover of a house of gratitude to Mr. Tran Van Hung (residing at 25/50/6 Nguyen Huu Canh, Rach Dua Ward), the son of martyr Tran Van Bich, who has difficult housing circumstances.

Representatives of Rach Dua Ward People's Committee presented gifts to Mr. Tran Van Hung's family.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Ngoc Tang, Deputy Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard, emphasized that the activity is a practical gratitude to those with meritorious services, contributing to taking care of the lives of policy families, promoting the nation's tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source".

On this occasion, the HCM City Border Guard and representatives of organizations and unions of Rach Dua ward presented many practical gifts to Mr. Tran Van Hung's family.
