Giving gifts from the Navy to families of policy beneficiaries and Navy veterans

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - May 7, 2025), on the morning of May 5, the Working Group of Center 47, the Naval Staff organized a meeting and presented gifts from the Vietnam Navy to families of policy beneficiaries and Navy veterans in Ha Nam province. Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; the Navy Veterans Liaison Committee of Ha Nam province.

At the meeting, on behalf of the Navy, the representative of the Working Group of Center 47, the Navy General Staff expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the wounded soldiers, martyrs, and veterans of the Vietnam People's Navy for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland as well as contributing to beautifying the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Navy.

At the same time, affirming: Promoting the 70-year tradition of building, fighting and maturing of the Vietnam People's Navy, Navy officers and soldiers always strive to study, train, and take the initiative to successfully carry out assigned tasks, contributing to building the strength of a regular, modern military service, shouldering the mission of being the core to firmly protect the sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands in the new situation.

The delegation presented gifts from the Navy to 9 families of wounded and martyred soldiers who fought and died in the Navy and Navy veterans in difficult circumstances in Ha Nam province. At the same time, they expressed their wish that the wounded and martyred soldiers, their relatives and Navy veterans would take care of their health and continue to encourage their children and grandchildren to follow the example of their fathers and brothers, and contribute to the development of their homeland.
