Over 800 junior high school managers and teachers received training and professional development.

From August 13 to 15, the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province organized training and professional development courses for junior high schools in 2025.

The trainees are key staff of secondary schools in schools and localities.

The training was attended by 834 trainees who were commune and ward officials in charge of education , management staff, and core teachers at secondary school level of 16 subjects/sub-subjects/content.

At the secondary school level, there are 16 subjects/sub-subjects/content including: 12 compulsory subjects and educational activities, 2 elective subjects and 2 local educational contents.

Training courses were held in the southern and northern regions of the province.

For convenience of travel, the training courses are held at 2 locations: Location 1 includes schools in the southern region of the province (schools in the former Yen Bai province); Location 2 includes schools in the northern region of the province (schools in the former Lao Cai province).

Students are trained to improve their expertise and professionalism.

During the 3-day training period, trainees will grasp the following contents: Building and implementing lesson plans in the direction of developing students' qualities and abilities; teaching difficult topics, STEM education, nurturing excellent students, gifted students, enrolling students in grade 10; applying information technology and digital transformation in teaching and learning; innovating testing and evaluating students in the direction of developing students' qualities and abilities.



In addition to theory, students also participate in practical activities conducted in the classroom. (In the photo is a STEM activity applying the reaction principle of Physics).

Through the training course, trainees are equipped with knowledge, skills and experience in implementing educational management. At the same time, those who directly teach will master the program content, active teaching methods, assessment and testing skills, as well as the ability to apply information technology in teaching and classroom management to ensure the effective implementation of the 2018 General Education Program and the successful completion of the 2025 - 2030 school year.

Based on the training content, managers and teachers participating in the training are responsible for implementing the training content at their units in accordance with the locality.
