Over 96 million VND to support people of Kien Thiet commune

From October 29 to 30, the Heart Rescue Station, Hanoi city coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Thiet commune, Tuyen Quang province to organize a gift-giving program to support people affected by storms and floods.

Heart Rescue Station, Hanoi city gives gifts to people of Khuoi Khit village, Kien Thiet commune.

The delegation presented 77 gifts to 77 poor, near-poor, and ethnic minority households in particularly difficult circumstances affected by storms and floods. Each gift included: 10 kg of rice, a set of 3 pots, a plastic barrel, a warm blanket, a new mosquito net, necessities, and cash from 200,000 to 500,000 VND; presented a set of slides and organized a party for 47 preschool students at Khuoi Can Kindergarten; presented a set of cabinets for school supplies to students at Lung Quan Kindergarten. The total value of the gifts was over 96 million VND, sponsored by the Heart Rescue Station, Hanoi City in connection with benefactors.

The gifts aim to demonstrate the spirit of "mutual love"; encourage households, help them reduce some of their immediate difficulties, and contribute to the locality's implementation of social security policies and sustainable poverty reduction.
