Synchronously and effectively deploy legal work

According to the report of the General Department of Politics (GDP) of the Vietnam People's Army, from 2022 to present, legal work has continued to be thoroughly grasped and implemented synchronously and comprehensively by the GDP, achieving many positive results.

In the work of institutional development, agencies and units under the General Department of Military Service have proactively reviewed and proposed the development of a system of legal documents in the field of management of the General Department; proposed the completion of laws on emulation and rewards, building a contingent of cadres and officers, and implementing policies for the Army and the Army's rear... The General Department has drafted and submitted 8 documents to the Ministry of National Defense , commented on 135 documents, reviewed 97 legal documents to ensure progress and quality; regularly reviewed internal normative documents, promptly revised and supplemented to ensure consistency and unity.

The legal department of the General Department of Vietnam Customs actively coordinates, advises, and proposes legal issues related to the implementation of investment projects in construction and management of national defense land; promotes its responsibility in researching, appraising, and providing legal opinions on draft contracts, ensuring proper procedures, principles, and compliance with legal regulations.

Improving the quality of legal work in the army to meet mission requirements in the new situation

The legal work and legal organization in the Vietnam People's Army have always been focused on by the Central Military Commission and the head of the Ministry of National Defense, leading and directing, and identified as one of the important aspects of work to advise the Minister of National Defense in performing the state management function in the military , national defense (QS, QP), and cryptography fields; at the same time, improving the overall quality and combat strength of the army, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland.

General Department of Logistics improves the effectiveness of legal work

To continue improving the quality and effectiveness of legal work, from 2022 to present, the General Department of Logistics has directed the General Department's Legal Department to coordinate with relevant agencies to do a good job of advising, proposing, implementing, and monitoring law enforcement; focusing on monitoring the situation of law enforcement in the Army logistics sector, legal provisions directly related to the functions and tasks of the General Department and legal fields with many complicated issues, "hot spots" in terms of law and discipline violations.
