Review of professional and technical officer titles

On the morning of May 23, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army chaired the Conference to review the titles of professional - technical - vocational officers in 2023.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh highly appreciated the council's standing body for doing a good job of reviewing and fully preparing documents for the council meeting; and the council members promoted their responsibility in participating in the discussion.

The Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army requested that the standing body of the council continue to complete the documents reporting to the Head of the General Department of Politics to recognize the initial rank titles; request the Industry Council and the Ministry of National Defense's Title Review Council to consider and recognize the main rank and senior rank titles; and guide agencies and units to organize the awarding of decisions and certificates to cadres and officers when decisions are made.

In the coming time, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh requested the council members and the standing agency to continue to strengthen inspection, urge, and guide agencies and units to thoroughly understand and study the criteria for each position; closely lead and direct the review and appraisal of registration dossiers before sending them to the council; create conditions for cadres and officers to research, study, and accumulate certificates according to regulations suitable for the positions registered for review, ensuring that the organization and review of professional - technical - professional officer positions in the General Department of Politics is strict and in accordance with regulations.

At the conference, with a spirit of urgency and seriousness, the Council members discussed and gave specific comments on the profiles based on standards and regulations appropriate to each industry. The Council voted to approve the qualified candidate profiles to propose the head and the superior council to consider and make a decision to recognize the title.

Regulations on technical expertise assessment

QĐND - The Minister of National Defense has just signed Decision No. 275/QD-BQP promulgating regulations on the content and methods of organizing the assessment of capacity and technical expertise for professional soldiers (QNCN) and defense officials (VCQP) who are technical staff in the army.

On the morning of March 24, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Department of Politics visited and congratulated the youth of the Army and the Youth Union of the Army, on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 / March 26, 2023).
