Deploying the plan to practice 2 fire fighting and rescue plans at the provincial level

BHG - On the morning of June 10, the Provincial Steering Committee for Fire Fighting and Rescue Drills in 2025 held a conference to deploy the fire fighting and rescue drill plan at the Ha Giang Provincial Sports and Culture Complex Stadium and Yen Bien Luxury Hotel (Ha Giang City). Comrade Vuong Ngoc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Fire Fighting and Rescue Drills chaired the conference. Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Police, departments, branches, member units and the Ha Giang City People's Committee.

At the conference, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, the Provincial Police Department approved the plan of the Provincial People's Committee to organize a provincial-level fire prevention and rescue drill. The purpose of the drill is to improve combat readiness, command and control skills and coordination efficiency between the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force and related forces in the province in handling large-scale fires, accidents and complex incidents. Through the drill, the features and actual performance of the forces, vehicles, fire prevention and rescue equipment, communication systems and logistics for fire prevention and rescue work will be checked and evaluated. According to the plan, the organization of the fire prevention and rescue plan will mobilize forces, vehicles and assets of many agencies and organizations to participate at the Ha Giang Provincial Sports and Culture Complex Stadium and Yen Bien Luxury Hotel. The drill is expected to take place at the end of June 2025. Through the scenario plan, the exercise process includes the mechanism part and the actual exercise part. The force participating in the exercise is expected to mobilize about 150 people along with fire trucks, rescue vehicles, ambulances, protective equipment, lighting, communications, and professional equipment.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Ngoc Ha emphasized: The large-scale exercise is an opportunity for functional forces to improve their combat capabilities and perform their tasks. At the same time, it is necessary to evaluate the handling process and coordination between relevant forces and units in fire fighting and rescue work. Therefore, participating units and forces need to focus highly, proactively coordinate, direct strongly, overcome difficulties in terms of forces, means, time... to ensure the best completion of the set goals and tasks. In addition, it is required that agencies and units participating in the exercise must ensure absolute safety for people, means, and equipment during the exercise and drill. Coordinate with Ha Giang Newspaper to actively promote propaganda work, build training and drill videos to serve the exercise, thereby strongly spreading the movement of the entire population participating in fire prevention and rescue work.
