With the theme “Humanitarian Journey - Spreading Love”, this year’s Humanitarian Month was implemented by the Red Cross at all levels in Binh Thuan province with the goal of “Leaving no one behind”, focusing on policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, lonely elderly people, poor and near-poor households, students in difficult circumstances, etc.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial Red Cross Society awarded outstanding collectives and individuals in participating in the Campaign “Millions of Compassionate Steps - Continuing the Golden History”. In Binh Thuan, the campaign attracted more than 2,500 participants, recording 88,000 km, equivalent to a contribution of 88 million VND for humanitarian activities.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 20 scholarships to students with difficult circumstances who achieved good academic results, 250 gifts and organized medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for more than 250 poor households, policy families, and people with difficult circumstances in Dong Giang commune.

In particular, responding to the national emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, the Organizing Committee has awarded 100 million VND in support to build a Red Cross House for households in especially difficult circumstances who do not have a home.

Also on this occasion, the Red Cross offered incense at the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base Relic Site to express deep gratitude to those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
