Journalist and researcher Duong Phuoc Thu, Editor-in-Chief of " Hue Journalism History Chronicle (1913 - 2020)" briefly introduced the book at the launch ceremony.

The book launch event - the research work "Chronicles of Hue Press History (1913 - 2020)" has extremely important historical, cultural and political significance on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the first issue of Thanh Nien Newspaper founded by Leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, the 95th anniversary of the birth of Con Duong Dau Tranh (June 1930 - June 2025) - the first newspaper of the Party Committee of Thua Thien Hue province - now Hue city; the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

The content of the book mainly focuses on an overview of the history of each newspaper compiled in a chronological manner, briefly introducing each publication published in Hue, from the "ancestral newspaper" born in December 1913 to those appearing in 2020, which is the milestone for the compilation of this book.

The editorial board has spent a lot of time to build a meticulous, scientific research work, carefully with data, comparing the date of birth until the cessation of each newspaper, the number of publications, the number of circulations; specifically recording the names of the Editor-in-Chief, Editor-in-Chief, Manager, Editorial Secretary and famous journalists who made up the strength of the newspaper. This work has many number 1 editions of newspapers published nearly a hundred years ago printed with clear content.

Song Huong Magazine presented the book to the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Sciences, Hue University on the occasion of the book launch.

In addition, the book has inherited the results of many previous journalism researchers; especially, it has worked hard to collect, research, and exploit original documents preserved for many years at units, archive centers, national museums, and from sources of many domestic journalism collectors... to complete the work.

Sharing about the book "Hue Press Chronicle (1913 - 2020), poet and journalist Nguyen Khoa Diem highly appreciated the editorial board for their hard work in searching in large libraries and archives, where many documents have gradually deteriorated and left the memory of the people involved. The book was published at a time when information must be communicated, journalists talk about journalists to enrich trust, experience and inspiration, creating new momentum on the front of building an increasingly progressive and civilized press career, keeping up with the development of society.

At the book introduction, many journalists and researchers also contributed their opinions to complete the book and to make it useful for reference and use. On this occasion, Song Huong Magazine presented the book "Hue Journalism Chronicle (1913 - 2020)" to the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Sciences - Hue University.
