Before piloting, it is necessary to ensure absolute safety solutions for tourists as well as service staff; commitments to comply with legal regulations on forestry, environmental protection, natural resource protection and other relevant regulations.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities to appraise according to the provisions of the Law on Tourism and other relevant regulations, before testing the model, service products, and conducting pilot supervision of the Ta Du waterfall eco-adventure tourism product.
After the pilot implementation, the Department of Agriculture and Environment shall review and guide enterprises to complete the development of an ecotourism project in accordance with the sustainable forest management plan approved by a competent state agency in accordance with the provisions of law, and submit it to the competent authority for consideration and official approval for implementation.
The Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion continues to support Jungle Boss Company Limited in organizing the pilot implementation of the project; creating conditions to help businesses promote and market tourism products under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the Quang Tri province tourism promotion program.
Huong Hoa District People's Committee (the local government after the merger in the area where the service is deployed) supports and coordinates with Jungle Boss Company Limited to organize this tourism product trial, ensuring safety for tourists, local security and order, and ensuring environmental sanitation, fire prevention and control, and forest safety.
It is known that Ta Du waterfall area is located in Ta Du village, Tan Hop commune, about 3 km from Khe Sanh town center, convenient for transportation and service connection. Ta Du waterfall area is located at an average altitude of 500 - 700 m, mountainous terrain interspersed with valleys, tropical humid climate, average annual temperature of about 24.9°C, rainfall from 1,900 - 2,500 mm/year, high air humidity (88-91%).
Ta Du Stream is about 3 km long, originating from the high mountains, flowing along the cool green forest carpet, forming many waterfalls, rocky beaches and natural sand dunes, creating a wild and attractive landscape. The forest ecosystem here is rich with many endemic species of plants and animals of the Truong Son range, especially suitable for developing eco-tourism combined with adventure such as trekking, ziplining, stream bathing, camping and forest exploration.
