The special topic is a special highlight to honor the 100-year journey of formation and development of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, starting with Thanh Nien newspaper founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc in 1925.
Since then, the revolutionary press has become an elite force on the ideological front, spreading Marxism-Leninism, calling for the struggle for national liberation, encouraging revolutionary movements and reflecting people's lives through historical periods.

Four main periods are depicted in the exhibition, including: the period of fighting against feudal colonialism (1925–1945); the period of resistance against France (1945–1954); the period of resistance against the US, unifying the country (1954–1975) and the period of construction, innovation and integration (1975–2025).
In each period, the press plays the role of a "sharp weapon" of the revolution, as Uncle Ho taught: "Press cadres are also revolutionary soldiers".

Part two of the special topic is a tribute to Quang Binh journalism, a locality rich in revolutionary traditions.
From the secret Con Duong sáng newspaper born in prison in 1930, to the “Gio Dai Phong” and “Hai gioi” movements and the role of Quang Binh Newspaper in the work of building the homeland after the war.

The program also pays tribute to journalists from Quang Binh, such as: General Vo Nguyen Giap, Bui Dinh Tuy, Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan, Do Quy Doan... who have left a strong mark in the history of revolutionary journalism in our country.
Mr. Than Quang Minh, Head of the Professional Department of the Vietnam Press Museum, said: "The exhibition has both political and historical significance and profound traditional education. It is an opportunity for the public to understand more about the glorious journey of revolutionary journalism and to pay tribute to journalists, especially the journalists - martyrs who sacrificed for noble ideals."
