The exhibition center is a 4m high, 45m long panel with sharp, enlarged prints of lacquer and oil paintings and battlefield sketches by military artists who participated in the resistance war such as: Painters Huy Toan, Le Lam, Tran Huu Chat, Pham Ngoc Lieu, Phan Oanh... and later generation artists such as: Trinh Ba Quat, Ngan Chai, Nguyen Thanh Tung, Nguyen Thu Thuy, Nguyen Doan Son...

According to artist Nguyen Thu Thuy, behind each work are touching stories of the artist and the characters. In 1966, artist Le Lam refused to study in the Soviet Union and volunteered to work on the battlefield in the South. Here, he met the character Tu Cao - who had stopped enemy vehicles with her bare hands in Long An - to sketch.

There are 3 special works sent by two art collectors including: 1 oil painting " Dien Bien Phu in the air" by artist Nguyen Thuan; 2 lacquer paintings "Liberating Buon Ma Thuot" and "Tank crashing into the gate of Independence Palace" by artist Tran Huu Chat.

At the exhibition, nearly 100 students of Chu Van An Primary School formed a heart shape and the number 30-4 to express the pride of the young generation who always remember the merits and sacrifices of their ancestors to have a happy and peaceful life today.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Deputy General Director of Bao Viet Nhan Tho Corporation, the exhibition's co-organizer, shared: "Each work of art at the exhibition is not only the crystallization of the talent and dedication of talented artists, but also vivid slices of the nation's journey of building and defending the country. The artistic value will arouse deep emotions, foster patriotism and pride in each person, especially the young generation, who will continue the mission of building a strong and prosperous Vietnam."
