On the morning of November 30, at Gia Lam airport, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense led a working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense to inspect the joint training and preparation work of the forces. Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Head of the Exhibition Steering Committee; Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee; Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Head of the Exhibition Steering Committee participated in the working delegation.

On an area of nearly 20,000 square meters, more than 2,150 actors, fighters, students and soldiers performed special performances that will take place in the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition. The opening ceremony with a 30-minute art program and a 30-minute ceremony program. The forces will perform 4 performances, including the Vietnamese Bamboo performance performed by 500 fighters and special forces students; 165 fighters performing drums, 200 people performing flags, the Vietnam, Country, People performance with a medley of folk songs from 3 regions performed by 200 professional dancers and 200 soldiers. The colorful Vietnam performance will be performed by the Army's ceremonial troupe's gun dance team with a male and female choir, a dance group and 200 soldiers; The performance "Aspiration for Peace, Connecting 5 Continents" was performed by 200 dancers, 600 fighters, special forces students and 200 soldiers.

To achieve these performances, over the past months, the forces have overcome all difficulties, devoted themselves, and coordinated to practice. One of the highlights of the 2024 International Defense Exhibition is the performance of the Vietnam People's Air Force.

The number of aircraft on display at this exhibition will be greater than that of the 2022 exhibition; Su30 MK2 aircraft and helicopters will fly in formation carrying the Vietnamese national flag on a battle drum background at the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Along with that will be a martial arts performance by the Special Forces and the Border Guard's dog formation.

Talking and encouraging the participating forces, General Phan Van Giang requested the forces to uphold their sense of responsibility and continue to practice according to the Exhibition program; ensure safety and solemnity for the Exhibition Opening Ceremony, contributing to sending to international friends the meaningful message of Vietnam through the theme of the Opening Ceremony "Vietnam - Peace - Cooperation - Development".

Praising the efforts of the officers, soldiers and artists to actively participate in the training for the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition, General Phan Van Giang hoped that all forces would try their best, not only to serve the Exhibition, but from now until the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, which is truly a festival demonstrating strength and unity from top to bottom. To carry out the tasks of each officer and soldier, General Phan Van Giang emphasized that the forces must focus on training to prepare so that all people from all over the country and international friends from all over the world who come to the Exhibition can see that, not only in combat but also in peacetime, the Vietnam People's Army is forever worthy of the name "Uncle Ho's soldiers".
