Summoned 16 teenagers who used weapons to fight on the street in Quang Ninh

On the evening of December 19, Quang Ninh Provincial Police said that Ha Long City Police (Quang Ninh) had summoned 16 teenagers to handle the act of "Disturbing public order" that occurred on Vuon Dao Street, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City.

Initially, the police determined that the two groups of teenagers did not know each other and had no previous conflicts. Just because they saw each other revving their engines, the two groups chased and beat each other, causing a disturbance in the security and order in the area.

Previously, on December 15, a video appeared on social media recording two groups of young men using weapons to fight on the street, causing public outrage.

Immediately after receiving the information, Ha Long City Police directed the Criminal Police Team to verify and clarify the case.

Initial verification results determined that at around 1:00 a.m. the same day, the first group of 8 young men from the mountainous communes of Ha Long City and 3 other young men (identity and background have not been verified) rode 6 motorbikes, carrying a "pho" knife as a weapon, fighting and brawling with the second group of 7 young men and students in the Bai Chay area (Ha Long City).

In addition to summoning and working with 16 teenagers, the police also temporarily detained 3 motorbikes and 1 "pho" knife and continued to investigate and verify to handle the case.

A week ago, on December 12, the Investigation Police Agency of Hong Linh Town Police ( Ha Tinh Province) also issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute 10 teenagers for the crime of "Disturbing public order".

Accordingly, at around 2:00 a.m. on November 3, on 3/2 Street (Bac Hong Ward, Hong Linh Town), two groups of teenagers appeared on motorbikes, driving at high speed, weaving in and out, not wearing helmets, carrying many weapons, cursing, chasing and fighting each other many times on the road, causing disorder in the area.
