The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 is a special event, demonstrating the strength, solidarity and pride of the entire nation.
Unlike previous parades which were mainly held on land and in the air, this year, the sea parade was held for the first time on a large scale.
The Navy, the core force on the front line of protecting sea and island sovereignty, is urgently training and preparing forces, vehicles, and modern equipment to be ready to participate in the special parade.
Under the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense , the Navy has coordinated with relevant agencies and units to develop a master plan for organizing a military parade at sea. The parade will take place in Khanh Hoa province, with the participation of the Navy, Coast Guard, Border Guard and Military Region 5.
In the parade formation, the Navy mobilized elite forces and modern equipment. Notably, the appearance of the Kilo 636 submarine - the "ocean black hole" known as a strategic underwater weapon, surface ships, and naval aviation... All were ready for a synchronized, modern, and increasingly strong formation of the Vietnam People's Navy.

The participating units selected elite forces, conducted intensive training on each ship; practiced parades at the port; built parade formations at sea, formations and handled simulated situations on maps and sand tables; and moved to Cam Ranh to organize joint training.

All vehicles and equipment expected to participate have been maintained and technically inspected, ensuring a high state of combat readiness. The training process is also organized according to a live-fire plan, emphasizing the element of coordination and handling situations close to reality.

Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Navy requested units to strictly follow discipline, ensure the number of troops, and ensure absolute safety in training and performing tasks. At the same time, unit commanders need to closely follow the plan, organize reasonable formations, and learn from experience after each training session to achieve the best results.
This is not only a parade, but also an opportunity for Navy officers and soldiers to demonstrate their dedication, faith, bravery and readiness to fight for the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
Previously, at a meeting on preparations, General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense emphasized: This parade will have many new features, demonstrating the spirit of innovation, integration and the combined strength of the Vietnam Army. In addition to the ground formation such as the walking force, the mechanized force, the air force in the sky, there will be a force at sea. He affirmed that this parade is also an opportunity to demonstrate the strength and growth of the Army over the past 80 years under the leadership of the Party.
