Each work is a creative slice, a separate story, reflecting the tireless artistic journey of Hue painters and sculptors, who have contributed to creating the unique appearance of Vietnamese fine arts.
In particular, the collection shows throughout the creative stages of famous authors: from the first half of the 20th century such as Ton That Sa; the period 1930 - 1945 such as Mai Trung Thu, Ton That Dao; Le Thanh Nhon... to the period 1945 - 1975 such as Phan Xuan Sanh, Do Ky Hoang, Vinh Phoi, Lam Triet, Ton That Van, Dinh Cuong, Truong Be, Hoang Dang Nhuan, Le Quy Long, Cong Huyen, Ton Nu Tuyet Mai, Buu Chi, Duong Dinh Sang... to young artists with other new art forms such as video art, installation art...
The exhibition space is like a continuous flow of art, where the audience can encounter the breath of classical mixed with modern, the stillness of traditional painting blending with the intense vitality of contemporary art.
This is not only an opportunity for the public to enjoy, but also an opportunity to better understand the "soul" of Hue fine arts, an art with its own style of the ancient capital, gentle but profound, classical but always new.
According to the representative of Hue Fine Arts Museum, the exhibition is a tribute to the great contributions of artists, organizations and individuals who have contributed to building and developing Hue fine arts in general and Hue Fine Arts Museum in particular.
The exhibition is open to the public until December 12.
