China is ready to cooperate extensively with Britain.

Reuters reported that at a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Mr. Wang Yi said China and Britain need to strengthen strategic dialogue, increase mutual trust and demonstrate the responsibility of major powers.

On the British side, Prime Minister Starmer emphasized the policy of building a consistent and respectful relationship between the two countries, including strengthening cooperation in trade, investment and other areas of mutual benefit. Mr. Starmer reiterated the stance that the UK will openly participate in areas where the two countries have different views, as part of the UK government's commitment to building a stable relationship with China. The UK and China need to increase strategic exchanges and jointly promote peace and stability.
