The Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion works with international partners on tourism development cooperation and promoting the image of Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark.

- On March 21, a delegation from the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion (XTĐT, TM&DL) of Lang Son province led by Mr. Hoang Xuan Thuan, Director of the center, had a working trip in Hanoi with international partners on tourism development cooperation and promoting the image of the UNESCO Lang Son Global Geopark.

During the program , the delegation had a working session with the Australian Business Association in Vietnam. Here, the delegation introduced the Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark as well as promoted survey activities and cooperation in tourism; discussed investment opportunities, mechanisms and policies to attract investment in Lang Son province.

The Australian Business Association expressed its interest in building and developing the Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark and discussed handicraft projects to serve tourism and export tasks. The association affirmed that it would send information on promoting investment, trade and tourism of the province to Australian businesses in the near future.

Leaders of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion presented souvenirs to representatives of the Australian Business Association in Vietnam.

On the same day, the delegation also met and worked with members of the US National Cave Society (NSS), the French National Cave Society and Viet Nam Expeditions Company. The parties discussed promoting cooperation in tourism development, especially cave exploration, sinkhole tourism and adventure tourism in Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark.

International partners highly appreciate Lang Son's tourism potential and pledge to support the province in building unique, sustainable and highly competitive tourism products to attract domestic and international tourists.

This tourism promotion activity is of great significance in promoting the image of Lang Son UNESCO Global Geopark to international friends. Cooperation with prestigious partners will help Lang Son effectively exploit its tourism potential, contributing to the socio -economic development of the province.
