On the afternoon of November 12, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) announced that it had awarded the Jackpot prize to Mr. NCL - the lucky customer who won the prize of 133.7 billion VND.
Mr. NCL is currently living and doing business freely in Khanh Hoa province. He regularly plays Vietlott's Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55 lottery since the service started operating in Khanh Hoa and buys 3 lottery tickets every day.
For the past two years, he has been in the habit of buying numbers generated from his date of birth and the license plate number of his car. He has been buying these numbers for more than two years for both Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55 lotteries.

He said he informed his wife as soon as he knew he had won. Because the prize money was large, he would consider spending it appropriately so as not to affect his life and that of his family.
According to regulations, Mr. NCL is obliged to pay personal income tax at the place of registration to participate in the prize, which is Khanh Hoa province, with a total value of more than 13.3 billion VND (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND) and will be deducted immediately upon receiving the prize.
