Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia encouraged the male militia to participate in the parade and serve the parade.

On the afternoon of April 20, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Central Steering Committee delegation to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country in the three years 2023 - 2025 led by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee visited and presented gifts to encourage the forces participating in the parade and the forces firing the ceremonial artillery in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025.

Also attending were Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; representatives of the Ministry of Public Security, Military Region 7 Command, leaders of several central ministries, branches and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the Military School of Military Region 7 (District 12, Ho Chi Minh City), comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and presented gifts to 8 armed forces participating in the parade and marching and the forces performing explanation work; consulting, combat; ensuring security, safety; and ensuring medical and logistical support of the Ministry of National Defense.

Speaking to encourage the forces, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia praised the efforts of the officers and soldiers of the parade and marching groups and the support forces who have successfully completed their assigned tasks, contributing to creating positive results in the training of the forces participating in the parade and marching ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia said that the forces participating in the parade are the pride of the armed forces, the Party and the People; accompanying the whole country in important national events that are highly appreciated and trusted by our people and international friends, such as the successful organization of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

Hopefully, in the coming time, the forces will continue to promote the positive results they have achieved to do even better, worthy of being the symbol of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country, the symbol of patriotism, of revolutionary heroism, the spirit of determination to fight and win of the People's Army and the People's Public Security. The forces marching and parading are also symbols of the great national unity in all regions of the country.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his belief that the blocs and forces participating in and serving the parade will continue to practice with steadfastness, faith, pride, self-respect and the spirit of honoring the previous generations who fell for the country to gain independence, sovereignty, position and fortune as it is today; thereby demonstrating the courage, intelligence and image of the revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army before the people and international friends.

At the Ceremonial Artillery site in Bach Dang Wharf Park (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia inspected the actual test firing of the Ceremonial Artillery; presented gifts and encouraged officers and soldiers of the Artillery Corps to successfully complete the task of firing the Ceremonial Artillery during the Parade on the morning of April 30, 2025.
