Foreign Trade University has a new Vice President

On the morning of October 8, Foreign Trade University solemnly held a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the University Council appointing Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien - Party Committee member, Head of Training Management Department to hold the position of Vice Rector for the 2020 - 2025 term. This appointment aims to complete the personnel of the Board of Directors for the 2020 - 2025 term.

At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hang - Head of Organization and Personnel Department announced Resolution No. 50/NQ-HDT dated September 30, 2024 of the University Council on appointing Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien to the position of Vice President of Foreign Trade University for the 2020-2025 term.

Next, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the School Board presented the Resolution and delivered a congratulatory speech to the new Vice Principal.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leadership and Board of Directors of the School, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, Principal of the School sent congratulations to Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien for receiving the high trust of the key staff, leadership, Party Committee, and School Council to be appointed to the position of Vice Principal of the School.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan, this is a great honor for Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien, and at the same time brings her many new responsibilities, new and heavier responsibilities.

Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien is a former student of K33, Foreign Economics , Foreign Trade University. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien received her PhD in Economics and International Economic Relations from Foreign Trade University in 2012 and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2018. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Economics and International Business and has held management positions in functional departments such as: Training Management Department, International Cooperation Department, Project Management Department. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien is also a member of the Party Committee of the University for the 2020-2025 term and a member of the University Council from August 2020 to July 2023. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Hien has always actively participated in union activities and held the position of Vice President of the University Trade Union for the 2019-2021 period and President of the University Trade Union for the 2021-2023 period.
