Accordingly, in 2024, the school will consider admission using a combination of 4 methods: based on the results of the 2024 high school exam; based on the results of high school transcripts (study results for the entire year of grade 12 or study results for the entire year of grade 11 and semester I of grade 12); using the results of the capacity assessment exam of national universities and regional universities; direct admission (there are 2 methods): according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; or high school graduates with 3 consecutive years of excellent students or winning first, second, third prizes in provincial-level excellent student competitions or higher in majors suitable for the specialized subject or the subject in which the prize was won.
In the 2024 enrollment period, Dalat University will consider admission according to 4 methods.
The threshold to ensure input quality for teacher training majors: admission using the results of the high school exam will follow the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission using the results of high school study must be excellent in grade 12 or have a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher. In the case of direct admission for excellent students for 3 consecutive years: the main subject registered for the corresponding major must have an average score of 8.0 or higher in grade 12; admission using the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam of 800 or higher on a 1,200-point scale, or 20 or higher converted to a 30-point scale.

The remaining majors will be admitted using the results of the high school exam, but Dalat University will announce the threshold to ensure input quality - the score to receive application for admission (DKXT) after the results of the 2024 high school exam are available. Admission will be based on the results of grade 12 or the average of grade 11 plus semester 1 of grade 12, the total score of 3 subjects in the DKXT subject group must be from 18 points or higher (no subject in the DKXT subject group has an average score below 5.0). Admission will be based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam, which is from 600 points or higher on a 1,200-point scale, converted to a 30-point scale, which is from 15 points or higher.
Dalat University also said that in 2024, the school plans to recruit 2,850 students for 40 regular training majors, including 1,708 students for the high school exam method.

In case candidates are eligible for early admission but do not re-register their wishes, they will be considered as not admitted. Candidates who do not participate in early admission or participate in early admission but do not re-register their wishes have the right to register for admission by all methods on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission information portal within the prescribed time.
