On the evening of June 21, the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the results of eligibility for admission to regular university in 2023 according to early admission methods.
Early admission methods include: Method 4 is based on the results of the 2023 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam and method 5 is based on the results of international certificates (IELTS, TOEFT...) combined with high school study results or SAT, ACT certificates/International Baccalaureate (IB)/A-level certificates.

According to Master Cu Xuan Tien, Head of Admissions and Student Affairs Department, method 4 of admission based on the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's capacity assessment exam this year has 12,164 applications with 25,982 wishes. Admitted by this method are candidates in the top 30% of candidates with the highest scores in the two rounds of this exam this year.
The average admission score in 2023 is 849, of which the average admission score for majors in the economic field is 835 points, the business field is 872 points and the law field is 815 points.
Candidate Nguyen Le My An (Trinh Hoai Duc High School, Binh Duong ) scored 1,091 points - valedictorian of the first round of the exam, and was admitted to the economics major.
The training major with the highest qualifying score is international business with 894 points. Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong are the localities with the most candidates admitted by this method (Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School, Le Thanh Tong Secondary and High School, Tran Phu High School, Phu Nhuan High School).

Method 5 is based on international certificate results (IELTS, TOEFT...) combined with high school academic results or SAT, ACT/International Baccalaureate (IB)/A-level certificates. The school received 2,703 applications with 9,512 admission wishes. The highest international certificate score in this method is IELTS 8.5, SAT 1,530. The number of applications with IELTS 7.0 or higher submitted to the school accounts for nearly 30% of the total number of applications.

The majors with the most candidates applying for admission methods this year include: international economics, international business, finance-banking, and e-commerce. In addition, 3 majors (digital marketing, business law, and international trade law) are the majors that receive great attention from candidates. At the same time, 7 majors taught in English also have an average admission score of nearly 800.
Candidates can look up the results of their eligibility for admission and the majors they are admitted to from 7:00 p.m. the same day on the school's admissions website: https://kqts.uel.edu.vn.
According to Master Cu Xuan Tien, candidates will be officially admitted when they are recognized as graduating from high school in 2023. The list of eligible candidates will be updated by the school on the Ministry of Education and Training's information portal. Candidates will follow the school's instructions (sent via SMS to the candidate's phone number registered in the application), register and arrange their wishes in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training's admission regulations to be officially recognized as admitted.
It is expected that tomorrow (June 22), the University of Economics and Law will continue to announce the results of the two admission methods: Priority for direct admission of excellent and talented students from high schools nationwide; Priority for admission according to the regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University.
