Representatives of departments, branches and local authorities attended the opening of the training course.
The class is a practical activity within the framework of Project 6 "Preserving and promoting fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030.
Students performed Tinh lute and Then singing at the opening of the training course.
During the 6-day course, students will be exposed to 3 key topics: State management of ethnic culture, identification of the current situation and cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities in general and Tay ethnic culture in Binh Phuoc in particular; methods of building and organizing activities of folk culture and arts clubs; teaching Tay ethnic culture and folk arts.
The class is taught directly by folk artist Ma Van Truc, Head of the “Am vang Nam Pe” Club (Ba Be district, Bac Kan province), who has many years of experience in preserving and performing traditional Tay art. Students will be trained in performing the Tinh lute, singing and traditional dance, thereby choosing to specialize in an art form that suits their strengths and personal aspirations.
This meaningful activity not only contributes to preserving and spreading the traditional cultural identity of the Tay ethnic group in Binh Phuoc, but also opens up a new direction in connecting culture with community tourism development, creating sustainable livelihoods for ethnic minorities in the locality.
Delegates and students capture memorable moments of the training class
At the end of the class, the Tay ethnic folk culture club in Long Binh commune will be launched and experimental performances will be organized to replicate the model.
