"Keeping the Oath - Connecting Rivers" is a program to honor the heroic martyrs of the People's Public Security, jointly implemented by the Vietnam Television Center in the Central Highlands and the Department of Party and Political Affairs - Ministry of Public Security.

Revolutionary heroism is one of the shining qualities that created the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Force. Despite dangers, sacrifices and losses, each officer and soldier of the People's Public Security Force in general and the People's Security Force in particular in all periods never faltered. Because the responsibilities and tasks that the People's Public Security Force shouldered were placed with absolute trust by the Party, the State and the People.

Talking about the program "Keeping the Oath - Connecting the Rivers", director Truong Vu Quynh of the program's production organization said: "We want to bring an emotional program, recognizing the important contributions of the Central Security Department of the Southern Region to the cause of national reunification, showing gratitude to generations of Vietnamese police officers who sacrificed for the Fatherland and at the same time, educating the younger generation about gratitude and the right attitude towards the nation's history".
