Welcoming the first flight of Red Wings airline from Russia to Khanh Hoa

On the morning of May 12, at Cam Ranh International Airport, Fun and Sun Vietnam Co., Ltd., in coordination with Cam Ranh International Airport and related units, organized a ceremony to welcome the first flight of Red Wings Airlines from Kazan City (Russia) to Khanh Hoa. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of related units.

Russian tourists are excited to travel to Khanh Hoa with tours organized by Fun and Sun Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism welcomed Russian guests flying from Kazan to Khanh Hoa on a Red Wings flight.

Flight number WZ3203, departing from Kazan International Airport, landed at 8:45 a.m. in Cam Ranh, bringing nearly 400 Russian tourists to the coastal city of Nha Trang. Upon landing, the plane was welcomed with a solemn water cannon ceremony. Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, airport representatives and travel agencies directly welcomed the group, presented flowers and souvenirs to passengers and crew. At the International Terminal, visitors also enjoyed traditional lion dances, performances of traditional musical instruments and received fresh flowers and conical hats - souvenirs imbued with Vietnamese identity, reflecting the culture and hospitality of Khanh Hoa people.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and delegates took souvenir photos with the Red Wings crew.

According to Ms. Luu Thi Mui - Director of Fun and Sun Vietnam Co., Ltd., from May 2025, the company will cooperate with Red Wings to operate flights from Kazan, Moscow, Krasnoyarsk and Yekaterinburg to Khanh Hoa, with a frequency of 4-5 flights/week, expected to bring about 8,000 Russian visitors/month to the locality.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Red Wings is the fifth Russian airline to open direct flights to Khanh Hoa, alongside Azur Air, Aeroflot, Ir Aero Airlines and Ikar Airlines. In April 2025, Khanh Hoa welcomed nearly 31,500 Russian visitors, an increase of 30.7% compared to March. In the first 4 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed more than 80,600 Russian visitors, 2.5 times higher than the same period in 2024.
