Accordingly, road transport vehicles in urban areas must ensure traffic order and safety according to the provisions of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024. Transport activities must be carried out according to the urban traffic flow and organization plan approved by the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. Vehicles such as environmental sanitation vehicles, vehicles carrying construction materials and loose waste are allowed to operate all day, except for routes and road sections with prohibition signs or specific operating hours.
Notably, from July 1, the rate of buses equipped with assistive devices for people with disabilities must reach 10% of the total number of public buses registered in the province. For buses not equipped with assistive devices, public passenger transport units are required to arrange service staff to assist people with disabilities in getting on and off the bus.
