The launch of the ChatGPT-4o update (the "o" stands for "omni") in May 2024 helped "ChatGPT" continue to gain traction with users. Searches for the keyword "chatgpt" increased by 88% compared to the previous quarter.
Scratch programming for kids has emerged as a new phenomenon. Scratch is a visual programming language with a drag-and-drop interface with colorful blocks for kids from 8 to 16 years old.
In addition, netizens are also enthusiastically looking forward to the VinFast VF3 and the iPhone 16 , even though they have not been released yet. Compared to the previous quarter, the number of searches for "iPhone 16" has increased by 106%.
Notably, Vietnamese users have been more proactive in learning about " online fraud ". Compared to the previous quarter, the number of searches related to this content has increased by 25%.

With the Sports theme, "EURO 2024" and "FA Cup" are the tournaments that Vietnamese users are most interested in.
In terms of search volume, the keyword "FA CUP" has grown by 14% compared to the previous quarter. At the same time, "FA CUP final" or "Manchester City Vs Manchester United" are also among the most interested football matches in the second quarter of 2024.
In terms of tourism , the keyword "April 30th holiday" was the most popular search. Notably, the parade and march to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory also received special response from users. "Dien Bien Phu" became the second most popular search keyword on the topic of Tourism in general and the most popular in the topic of Domestic Tourism in particular, with a 443% growth in search volume.
In addition, "booking apps" and "airlines" continue to be among the top popular search terms on Coc Coc.
In the Finance and Real Estate information group, "Land Law 2024" is in the top trending search keywords. Compared to the previous quarter, the number of searches for this keyword has increased by 128%.
Regarding the general trend, it can be summarized with the phrases: gold is heating up, USD exchange rate is "escalating", while bank interest rates are cooling down.
In addition, the report also lists the Top 10 domestic events and figures, and the Top 5 international events and figures most searched on Coc Coc.
