Working week 3, 9th session, 15th National Assembly: National Assembly spends most of its time on legislative work

Specifically, in the judicial field, to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups or protect public interests, there are drafts such as the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Courts; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of People's Procuracies; the Penal Code (amended); the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Criminal Procedure Code; the Law on Transfer of Persons Serving Prison Sentences; the Extradition Law; the National Assembly 's Resolution on piloting the People's Procuracy in initiating civil lawsuits.

In the socio -economic field, it is worth noting the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Enterprises; the Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of special mechanisms and policies, creating breakthroughs in the construction and organization of law enforcement; the Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of special mechanisms and policies for social housing development; the Resolution of the National Assembly on reducing value-added tax; the Law on Personal Data Protection, etc.

In particular, the National Assembly will consider, discuss and approve resolutions on shortening the term of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; and the national election day for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

The National Assembly will also hear submissions and examination reports on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on universalizing preschooleducation for children aged 3 to 5; the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on exemption and support of tuition fees for preschool children, general education students, and those studying general education programs at educational institutions in the national education system. These issues have a profound impact on the people, and will be studied, commented on, and expected to be passed by the legislative body in the second phase of the 9th session.
