Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2025 will be held from June 6-15 with a series of workshops, promotions, and performances of Ao Dai and traditions.
According to the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, there will be a series of special cultural activities at the Week. Notably, the special art program "Hue Ao Dai" is a prominent activity within the framework of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025. The program "Cultural Colors" will be a place for Vietnamese and international art troupes to introduce the beauty of culture and traditional costumes of East Asia.
In particular, the “Viet Phong Hoi Tu” parade is expected to be the largest-scale Vietnamese costume parade ever, with thousands of participants in traditional costumes from the three regions.
In addition, there are special activities such as: Special art program "Hue Ao Dai"; Space to display traditional Ao Dai sewing; Cycling activity for the environment, theme "Ao Dai through the streets"; Journey "Ao Dai returns to the source" at Truong Thai King's tomb and Minh Mang King's tomb; Art program "Cultural colors"; Parade activity "Viet Phong convergence."
Art program series “Ao Dai - The beauty of the ancient capital”; Flash mob dance “Ao Dai in the street”; Workshop “Ao Dai in school”; Exhibition of products of the Children's Painting Contest based on books in 2025, theme “Ao Dai and Childhood”; Program “Ao Dai Dance”.
In addition, there is an exhibition of works and a performance of the Ao Dai collection "Application of Diem Phung Thi art;" a performance of "Ao Dai with Phuoc Tich ceramic products" and a rural market combined with a parade "Ao Dai returns to heritage;" a night of "Ao Dai - my joy;" a flower and incense offering ceremony at Truong Thai tomb and a parade to pay tribute to King Nguyen Phuc Khoat and Emperor Minh Mang; and the closing program of Hue Community Ao Dai Week.
The series of activities at the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2025 aims to implement the project “Hue - Capital of Ao Dai,” organize the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival. In particular, the event not only honors Hue Ao Dai but also contributes to affirming the brand “Hue - Capital of Ao Dai,” promoting Hue culture associated with promoting local tourism and stimulating tourism development./.
