In Official Dispatch No. 5607/BGDĐT-GDNNGDTX sent to the People's Committees of provinces and cities, the Ministry of Education and Training requested that localities and units proactively select and organize appropriate and effective response activities.
Localities and units should promote propaganda about the role of self-study and lifelong learning associated with proactive mastery of knowledge and technology; organize seminars and forums with experts on technology trends, digital knowledge and effective learning methods, helping people raise awareness and form a sense of regular self-study. Propaganda needs to be associated with UNESCO's slogan "Learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, learning to be" and other suitable slogans, creating a multi-dimensional and comprehensive learning message.
In addition, localities and units organize training courses to foster basic and advanced digital skills for all subjects, including: using online tools (electronic offices, learning social networks), exploiting open educational resources (OER), securing personal information, identifying and preventing risks in cyberspace, initially approaching and practicing new technologies (data analysis, artificial intelligence, new data...). Localities and units mobilize businesses and educational organizations to coordinate in organizing consultation sessions and career experiences in the field of information technology, helping students practice digital skills in a real working environment.
Units introduce and guide the use of online learning platforms, mobile applications and digital learning resources; need to combine experimental classes and direct instruction to encourage people to form the habit of exploiting digital knowledge anytime, anywhere, gradually master modern learning tools, and expand self-study ability in the digital environment. Units launch a movement to build digital libraries at educational institutions and in the community; encourage the use of shared electronic libraries so that everyone can conveniently access knowledge.
Schools and units organize competitions and experiential activities on digital technology and new knowledge such as: programming, digital content creation, robot design, artificial intelligence application, data science ... to attract a large number of learners to participate, practice creativity, self-study, start-up and master technology.
On the occasion of Lifelong Learning Week, schools can organize activities connecting schools and businesses, including: visits, internships at technology businesses; career orientation talks with businesses and experts. In addition, schools invite businesses to introduce job opportunities, share experiences and recruitment trends; invite local entrepreneurs and artisans to share stories of starting a business, self-studying, mastering technology, inspiring the community and providing career orientation for students and trainees at educational institutions.
