Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2025 was officially launched this afternoon, October 29 in Hanoi.
Over the past decade, Vietnam International Fashion Week has affirmed its position as a professional annual event with leading influence in the region, contributing to spreading the image of Vietnamese fashion identity to the world . For the 20th season, the organizers chose the theme PureStyleShines - Unique identity creates style, aiming to honor the beauty of difference, encourage each individual to confidently express their own style and demonstrate their creativity.
Chairwoman of Vietnam International Fashion Week, Ms. Trang Le shared: “This season, we welcome many designers and fashion brands from countries in the Southeast Asian region, joining together to create a fashion week with a strong spirit of integration, creativity and unique identity… Entering a new era, our goal is to build a professional, sustainable and unique Vietnamese fashion industry, so that Vietnam is not only a destination for regional fashion, but also an attractive creative center of Southeast Asia.”
In that spirit, Ms. Trang Le said that this year's Fall Winter season will bring together 20 domestic and international designers and fashion brands (Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Laos and China).

The collections not only carry a strong personal touch but also tell the cultural story of each country. Among them, there are some faces that have accompanied the program since its first seasons such as: Frederick Lee (Singapore), Francis Libiran (Philippines), Priyo Oktavino (Indonesia).
The new point of this year's season is that for the first time the organizers have cooperated with two prestigious fashion training institutions in the capital: Hanoi University of Architecture and University of Industrial Fine Arts. Accordingly, the designs from the best students of the two schools will be introduced on the professional catwalk, providing opportunities to rub shoulders and learn from domestic and international experts. This handshake aims to nurture a generation of young designers, connect training with creative practice and demonstrate the integration trend of Vietnamese fashion.
Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2025 continues to record the presence of two Vietnamese designers taking on the opening and closing positions. Designer Vu Viet Ha introduces the collection "Pure Origin" inspired by the epic "Birth of the Earth and Water" of the Muong ethnic group. Vu Viet Ha wants to continue affirming the journey of bringing folk cultural materials into modern design language, so that viewers can feel the pure spirit of Vietnamese culture in a contemporary context.
After three seasons participating in the program, designer Cao Minh Tien will close the fashion week with the collection "Sleepwalking," continuing the romantic, sophisticated and distinctive style that has been associated with his name through many seasons participating.
Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2025 will take place from November 11-15 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Hanoi)./.
