Taste of Japan 2025 Culinary Culture Event Week officially opened on the afternoon of April 24 in Hanoi.

The program was organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day. This is not only an opportunity to look back on the past journey of the Vietnamese people, but also an opportunity to promote cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan.

The event takes place from April 24 to April 30 in three major cities: Hanoi , Hai Phong, Ha Long.

With the theme “Forging friendship, weaving the essence of taste”, Taste of Japan 2025 is a continuation of the journey of Vietnamese-Japanese culinary cultural exchange. The theme is inspired by the true historical story of Princess Ngoc Hoa - the first Vietnamese bride in Japan and merchant Araki Sorato, a living testament to the friendship between the two nations, from the 17th century to the present.

The highlight this year is the launch of the Traditional Japanese Cuisine Research Association - Vietnam Branch, marking a new step in connecting the culinary cultures of the two countries./.
