In recent days, social networks have been continuously sharing information about the cycling journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City of a young man named Dao Quang Ha (24 years old, from Thai Binh) to witness the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

During the 20-day journey of nearly 1,700 km, Quang Ha brought along his grandfather's old bicycle, a national flag and a few personal belongings. He made videos recording interesting experiences in the places he passed through...

Quang Ha shared on his personal TikTok that his grandfather was a youth volunteer, and that his “Thong Nhat” brand bicycle accompanied him through two resistance wars against France and the US, and he carried Ha on this bicycle throughout his childhood. Therefore, Ha wanted to bring his grandfather’s memento to Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the country’s reunification day as a way to show gratitude to the previous generation.

Quang Ha's story has gone viral, becoming a topic that the online community follows every day. Because this cross-country cycling journey is not just a trip to watch the parade, but also a journey to feel more deeply the love for the country.

Responding to the peak propaganda campaign with the theme "Peace is beautiful" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day of the Central Youth Union, grassroots youth organizations organized the campaign "Red covering social networks" through the campaign to mobilize cadres, union members, and people to simultaneously change their profile pictures on social networking platforms with historical colors to express the spirit of gratitude and national pride.

Today's young generation is still burning with patriotism and love for their homeland. And that love has become a "command" that urges young people to continue to contribute to building and protecting the Fatherland.

Youth Unions, associations and teams have also taken many colorful photo sets of the national flag and the Party flag; created many inspirational videos on social networks towards the great national holiday.

These include videos recreating the images of national heroes; expressing the spirit of Vietnamese youth such as academic activities, volunteering for the community, international cultural exchanges, building the homeland on the background music of songs such as "Aspirations of Youth", "Vietnam's Pride", "Continuing the Story of Peace"...

All of them show the pride, patriotism and desire to contribute of the youth along with gratitude to the previous generation who sacrificed to gain independence and peace for the nation.

Inheriting and developing revolutionary action movements in the previous period, the Youth Union and Association continue to promote their pioneering and voluntary role in contributing to the socio-economic development of the country and locality. Major movements such as "I love my Fatherland", "Youth Volunteers", "Creative Youth", "Youth Establishing a Life and Career"... have been concretized and widely promoted among the youth by the Youth Union and Association at all levels, gradually entering life in depth.

The content of the movements is more practical, effective, and diverse, proactively promoting the implementation of the Union's key tasks, linking socio-economic, defense and security issues, better meeting the needs and aspirations of young people. Through the themes and main topics of the year, Youth Month, Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, Winter Volunteer Campaign, and Spring Volunteer Campaign, the youth have carried out many projects and tasks contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

In Dak Lak, on average, every year, the youth of the whole province carry out more than 5,000 youth projects and tasks; more than 370,000 union members and young people participate in volunteer activities organized by union organizations and associations.
