“Electronic paper wallet” - convenient in every way

Thanks to this "key", people in the province have changed the way they interact with administrative procedures ( TTHC), becoming increasingly familiar with online transactions, bringing convenience and practical service in many activities of life.

The electronic identification account - VNeID has now integrated many types of documents, such as: health insurance, social insurance, driver's license, citizen identification card, helping people to carry out administrative transactions quickly and effectively. With personal information and related documents securely integrated on the VNeID application, people no longer have to carry many types of documents.

Dak Lak police advise people on the practical benefits of activating electronic identification accounts.

Sharing about the convenience of using the VNeID application, Ms. Nguyen My Nga (Cu M'gar commune, Cu M'gar district) said that before, every time she left the house, she was worried if she forgot to bring her personal papers, driver's license, vehicle registration to present when needed... But since having the "electronic document wallet", this worry has been eliminated and the "burden" of carrying around all kinds of documents has been reduced. Just open your phone and you will have all the necessary documents.

Similarly, Mr. Phan Huu Kiem (Tan Lap Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) found the "electronic document wallet" application very useful every time he went to the doctor, no need to bring all kinds of documents or worry about remembering this paper, forgetting that paper. "Just open the VNeID application, all necessary information can be retrieved quickly and conveniently at any time," said Mr. Kiem.

According to statistics from the Provincial Police, to date the whole province has activated more than 1,486,692 electronic identification accounts.

Based on technology, the birth of the VNeID application with the goal of integrating many important documents, people in the province are gradually getting used to online transactions to carry out many types of procedures and daily transactions. Presenting documents via the application is much faster than searching for hard copies, the identity verification process is also streamlined, minimizing complicated document checking steps.

At administrative transaction points, most people now have the habit of using smartphones to contact to resolve administrative procedures and perform public services online. Not only is it beneficial for the people, but the management agency also benefits from the necessary operations and printing costs, especially verifying the legality of documents, improving work efficiency, and improving the quality of public services.

The Provincial Public Administration Service Center is the focal point for receiving and returning results of administrative procedures to organizations and individuals. With a total of more than 1,300 listed administrative procedures of 14 departments and branches, and a large workload, the use of the VNeID application brings about significant changes in the work process towards greater efficiency.

Ms. Hoang Thi Tam, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, said: “Instead of having to ask people to present and have officials check and compare many types of hard copies of documents, we can now use information on the VNeID application to verify quickly and accurately. This helps reduce the time to verify initial information, improve the work efficiency of officials, and minimize errors in the manual data entry process. Thanks to that, the average time to process a procedure has been shortened.”

From the practical effectiveness that has been brought, the province has focused on deploying and encouraging people to exploit and use the level 2 electronic identification account application on the VNeID application, replacing many types of documents when handling administrative procedures. This effort aims to contribute to the digital transformation process in handling administrative procedures of state agencies, changing the use of traditional documents to the use of personal electronic data, building a modern, paperless administration.

Previously, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 139/KH-UBND, dated July 31, 2024, on implementing the issuance of Criminal Record Certificates on the electronic identification and authentication application (VNeID) in the province. The Provincial Police also implemented the first-time vehicle registration at the entire level via the VNeID application. Thereby, it has contributed to improving the efficiency of administrative procedure reform, converting from the method of using paper documents to the use of electronic documents, from single use to multiple reuse, avoiding waste, errors, saving costs and time for people, organizations and state agencies.
