Young man with hemiplegia needs help

Lam is the eldest son in a family of three children. Because his parents are old and often sick, he has to work as a construction worker in Ho Chi Minh City to earn money to support his parents. Since Lam had an accident, his family has borrowed money everywhere to pay for treatment at major hospitals. However, after more than four years of treatment, his health has not improved and the family is now in a state of exhaustion and debt.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Binh (Mr. Lam's mother) said: "I am 70 years old this year, and I am often sick, but with the faint hope that my son will recover soon, my family has borrowed money everywhere to continue treating him. Up to now, the cost of treatment has exceeded the family's ability."

Nguyen Phuc Lam's family faced many difficulties because of long-term treatment due to the consequences of a traffic accident.

Mr. Cao Van Buong (Head of Tan Ha 4 residential group, Thong Nhat ward, Buon Ho town) added: "Nguyen Phuc Lam's family is a poor household in the locality. In the past, the Red Cross and local departments and agencies have connected and helped him with treatment. However, the treatment time is long, and the small amount of money is also exhausted. I hope Lam's family will receive the attention and help of kind-hearted people to overcome this difficulty."
