After a period of incubation, Hanoi Radio for the first time revealed the images and stories of "Trang An Firewall" - a TV series recreating prominent virtual currency cases in society.
The film consists of 40-45 episodes, revolving around the fight against virtual currency crimes by the People's Public Security Forces, inspired by real events. Notably, the virtual currency crime case was cracked down by Hanoi Police at the end of 2024.
According to screenwriter Vu Liem, the film's script is distilled from real life stories, adding to the climax with cinematic situations. Through this, the film exposes the sophisticated tricks of high-tech criminals: from investment fraud, money laundering to system manipulation. Notably, the Mr. Pips case that caused a stir in society in 2024.

The filmmakers promise to continuously push the climax, taking the audience through many surprises in the story, thereby attracting the audience with breathtaking intellectual battles between the police force and high-tech criminal gangs, as well as a series of realistically staged chases and confrontations.
Delving into the thrilling topic of criminal investigation, while also suggesting social challenges in the digital age, the film chooses a new direction of exploitation, linked to the current context, helping the audience to both entertain and have a more vigilant perspective on the pitfalls in cyberspace in the 4.0 era. The work also has the meaning of propaganda, education , and honoring the bravery of the People's Public Security force, especially the Capital Public Security.
According to journalist Nguyen Kim Khiem, General Director and Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Radio and Television Station, the TV series “Trang An Firewall” is one of the station’s most important projects in 2025.

“In the fight against evil, maintaining social order and ensuring social stability, the People's Public Security and Hanoi Public Security forces have made many silent and fierce sacrifices. In recent years, they have entered a completely new front, in which knowledge and technology are sharp weapons for the forces to win against high-tech crimes,” journalist Nguyen Kim Khiem expressed.
That is the inspiration and motivation for Hanoi Radio to produce the film "Trang An Firewall" in the context that the Radio is making efforts to carry out multimedia communication activities and produce healthy entertainment products.
Attending the press conference on September 6, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, gave many words of encouragement to the film crew.
He said the city police force is ready to work alongside producers and directors during the film production process to advise on highly professional situations, and to send representatives to participate in some roles in the film to make the images and stories more vivid and realistic.

"Trang An Firewall" not only exposes the tricks of virtual currency fraud but also reflects the opposition between good and evil, between justice and greed.
