On the evening of February 17, Quang Ninh province held a ceremony to honor 20 outstanding young people in the emulation movement "Youth for the Party" in 2024 and 32 typical advanced young people following Uncle Ho's teachings in the period of 2023 - 2025.
Emulation movement "Youth for the Party" jointly organized and launched by the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee from March 2024.
The movement was launched associated with Party development among students; promotingeducation on revolutionary ideals and ethics for young people and helping union members and young people live with ideals, ambitions, a high sense of responsibility for the country and the goal of striving to join the Party.
Since its launch, the Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union at all levels has introduced 2,514 outstanding members for consideration of Party membership. 1,687 members have been admitted to the Party, including 155 students who were admitted right in school.
The movement “Youth for the Party” has been aiming to build the personality and responsibility of union members and young people towards society; ready to contribute their strength and intelligence in all fields from economic development, security and order protection to volunteer activities, helping the community...
In the spirit of enthusiastic competition in response to the movement "Youth for the Party", the Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels in Quang Ninh province have implemented: 3 provincial-level youth projects with a total value of 15.7 billion VND; 54 district-level youth projects with a total value of more than 10.7 billion VND; over 800 grassroots-level youth projects and tasks and 250 environmental protection activities...
Speaking at the commendation ceremony, Mr. Nguyen The Minh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Quang Ninh province highly appreciated and congratulated 20 outstanding young people in the emulation movement "Youth for the Party" and 32 advanced young people following Uncle Ho's teachings in the period of 2023 - 2025 who received Certificates of Merit from the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union.
"These are typical examples with outstanding achievements in the fields of study, teaching, research, labor, production, start-up, business, culture and arts... clearly demonstrating the model values of Quang Ninh youth in the new era, with culture, knowledge, education level, life skills, dynamism and creativity", the Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union emphasized.
Immediately after the award ceremony, a special art program took place with the theme "Quang Ninh Youth is proud and firmly believes in the Party". The art performances were invested in and elaborately staged to express the spirit, momentum and aspiration of Quang Ninh youth with the determination to rise up strongly, join hands and continue writing new pages of history of the heroic mining region. Thereby, contributing to the youth of the whole country entering a new era - the era of national development.
