The "Supporting Young People in Establishing Themselves and Their Careers" movement has been implemented comprehensively by the Youth Union of Tien Hung commune with many specific and practical support activities, having a profound and widespread impact. Through this movement, many Youth Union members and young people have demonstrated dynamism and creativity in labor, production, and successfully established their careers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Vuong, from Doai village, has successfully started his business with a model of cultivating seedlings and ornamental plants.
In 2019, after completing his military service, Nguyen Van Vuong, from Doai village, recognized the local area's traditional business of cultivating seedlings and ornamental plants, which yielded high economic returns. He boldly converted two acres of his family's unproductive rice paddies into a nursery. When starting his business, Vuong faced difficulties with capital and lacked the experience in planting, caring for, and pruning trees, unlike many other young entrepreneurs. To support his startup, the Youth Union of the commune acted as a liaison, securing a 50 million VND loan from the Dong Hung branch of the Social Policy Bank and enabling him to participate in training courses on scientific and technical advancements in cultivation. Today, Vuong has become a model of a successful young entrepreneur in the commune. Vuong shared: "With the capital and knowledge I received, I invested in a tillage machine and installed an automatic irrigation system, saving time, effort, and costs; I also bought seeds and seedlings to cultivate." To date, the family's nursery covers a total area of 2 acres, growing various types of seedlings, mainly ornamental palm trees, lemon trees, marigolds, and peonies... Thanks to the support of the Youth Union of the commune, I earn a profit of 500 million VND per year from the nursery.
With a dynamic, creative, and daring mindset, nearly five years ago, Mr. Tran Dinh Thuan, Secretary of the Youth Union in Hau village, implemented a model of raising crickets for commercial purposes and as feed for ornamental birds. From a few initial cricket cages, Mr. Thuan has now expanded to 20 cages. This has provided his family with regular employment and a relatively high income. Mr. Thuan shared: "During a visit with the Youth Union to observe a commercial cricket farming model in a neighboring commune, I decided to shift my focus from building materials business to cricket farming. Cricket farming requires low investment, high economic efficiency, is less susceptible to disease, doesn't require much care, and is easy to sell. Each cricket molts four times; the last time, a pair of thin white wings appear on its body, indicating it has reached sufficient weight and nutritional value for sale. In the first year, I experimented with a few cages, learning as I went. Seeing the effectiveness and mastering the techniques, I expanded the operation." With this cricket farming model, I earn an average profit of 10 million VND per month. I hope the Youth Union of the commune can connect me with a preferential loan to invest in expanding the cricket farming model and increase my family's income.

This is the commercial cricket farming model of Mr. Tran Dinh Thuan, Secretary of the Youth Union branch in Hau village.
Over the years, the Youth Union of Tien Hung commune has actively promoted and encouraged young people to boldly engage in economic activities and confidently start their own businesses; seeking and supporting creative entrepreneurial ideas for young people based on leveraging the strengths of the locality. Mr. Luong Duc Huy, Secretary of the Youth Union of Tien Hung commune, said: Identifying the task of accompanying and supporting youth union members in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction as a key priority, the commune's Youth Union has effectively maintained two savings and loan groups, acting as intermediaries for banks to provide loans to 50 youth union members for production and business development, with a current outstanding loan balance of over 3 billion VND. In addition, the commune's Youth Union has coordinated with relevant units to organize dozens of training courses on transferring science and technology, livestock and crop farming techniques, and many vocational training and job placement courses for youth union members. They have also organized visits for youth union members to learn from exemplary economic models within and outside the commune. Thanks to preferential loan capital and knowledge provided by the Youth Union, many startup models of Youth Union members and young people have proven effective, contributing to local economic development, building a lucky bamboo tower product that achieved OCOP 4-star rating, forming famous flower and ornamental plant growing areas, peach blossom growing areas, and commercial rice cultivation areas with product consumption linkages generating hundreds of millions of VND/hectare in income.

In the coming period, the Youth Union of Tien Hung commune will focus on better coordinating vocational training, job placement, expanding access to loans, connecting young people to markets for their products, and encouraging innovation to give young people motivation and new directions in establishing themselves and their careers.
