Commendation of collectives and individuals active in work related to overseas Vietnamese

On May 26, the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to commend collectives and individuals who actively participated in organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day; and commend collectives and individuals who actively participated in information and propaganda work on overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.

Chairwoman of the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City Vu Thi Huynh Mai said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the agency has advised on organizing a series of events to welcome overseas Vietnamese delegates back to the city to participate in activities.

All programs were successfully organized and received positive feedback from the overseas Vietnamese community. According to Ms. Vu Thi Huynh Mai, overseas Vietnamese considered attending the April 30th ceremony a great honor and pride.
